I have joined Andrea’s Creating Dreams Come True since my very best friend would not join my Creative Adventure and it is not that I quit, I just quit blogging about it because I wanted someone to share it with. Andrea’s Adventure has been going on for two months now, so I am behind, but I will catch up. I am really looking forward to this.

2nd Day of The Challenge

Today was another great day, up at 7:00 a.m. and did the following exercise routine:

30 minutes on treadmill
15 minutes on rower
30 minutes of weights
15 minutes meditation in child pose

My husband and I went to Farmer’s Market today and bought some vegetables. So there was even more exercise for the day. I also went to the airport post office to check Cargo Venmex box, mainly junk…. Then, of course I took that nap that I am getting so used to, in fact before yesterday I was napping all day and all night

I cooked fresh peas with a couple of pieces of okra in them, individual eggplant like they serve at Luby’s although mine was better and cornbread.

Today I ate the following:

Breakfast: Yogurt
Lunch: Apple
Dinner: Fresh peas, individual eggplant and cornbread.

So, actually I did good again today.

Now for the creative part – I am working on making a necklace from plastic tubing – supplies are alcohol inks, scrapbook paper and a necklace cord.

Before I lost my job I had taken an online class with Christi Friesen and I was real happy with my sculpt but I did not realize that the Paverpol would cause the fabric to turn so dark, I had chosen real pretty fabric, but it was actually the wrong weight of fabric and wrong type of fabric. So my Goddess looked really drab. I belong to Beginners Polymer Clay Yahoo Group and each month they have a special project and this past month was mixed media and you were to take a sculpt or something you already had and redo it, so I decided on the Goddess and some headless sculpts that I had. Here is the before picture of the Goddess:

And here are the two headless creatures that I sculpted and I know that each and every tutorial on sculpting that I have read and all the sculpting videos I have watched, you are suppose to sculpt the head first, I really don’t know why I did this, I just did.

He was running through the forest and ran into some predators, while trying to escape from them he ripped his wing and the ripped part of the wing covered where he needed to be covered; so the only other thing he is getting will be hair and a cute hat; then he will also go to the garden.

It all started years ago when business slowed to Venezuela, I could feel it coming, but still when I had to close the business on July 31, 2009 I was in such shock, so I had made up my mind on the last day of work that I would continue to keep up with my exercise program and eating right, but I did not. Instead I have just been lazy, not doing anything except sleeping and eating and being depressed. I have felt so bad that I don’t even feel like going out of the house. Yesterday I made the commitment to myself that I would give up sugar and all the bad foods I have been eating and start exercising again. So today the very first thing I did when I woke up was :

Thrity minutes on the treadmill, 15 minutes on the rower, 30 minutes of weights and 15 minutes in child pose meditating.

I already felt better, just because I did it, now I have to stick to it. In order to help me stick to it, I challenged my friend Deb to exercise each day and be creative some part of the day and then we would blog about our exercise experience for the day and also we would tell about what creative thing we did for the day. In some cases we will be doing challenges and these will be sent to each other.

Also, I decided to eat better so today I had:

Breakfast – Activa Yogurt
Lunch – Salad
Dinner – Roast, Plain White Rice, Asparagus
No Snacks

Wow, I did good!! Deb, how did you do?

Now for the Creative Part – I joined a swap in The Sum of All ATC’s Yahoo Group for charms

So far I have made altered scrabble tiles:

I really had fun making paper beads, it is a page from a magazine that I rubbed with Never Dull which takes out the image but leaves you with all these bright shiny colors, I then wrapped the paper bead in thread and used UTEE, my embossing stamp pad was dry so I added glyercin and water and worked like a charm.

Then I made some polymer clay ice cream cones, cupcakes, watermelon slices, etc

I always have fun with the Polymer Clay – don’t always turn out just the way I expected, but oh well.

And then I made this one bead as I wanted to try my hand with wire, then remembered that one of the rules for the swap was that you have to have the jump rings in silver so they will match and this is green wire, so won’t work I had fun making it though:

Here it is the middle of January already and I have not posted a thing on this blog and one of my goals for the new year was to post something each day in order just to write a little about what is going on in my life. Of course that would need to be in code, just in case…..

Numerology

Well, what can I say I have gone stupid again, but of course it is ok to go stupid as you can always come back – very long story. Anyway I decided I wanted to know about numerology – so I signed up for one of these deals that give you a free numerology details about your life, and man it sounded great – everything about me was so right on even about my misunderstood teenage years – teehee. So I decided I would get another email account and I made one with the name of the first guy I was ever in love with – I can’t believe the email was not taken and I put his birthday and name as on his birth certificate and he got the exact same email. Hmmmm, not worth spending the money if everybody in the whole worlds numerology is the same.

I did take an online class about numerology and I believe if done right, it can reveal some things that might be better left unrevealed.

Ok so maybe there is justice after all, looks like I just might turn this lemon I have been handed into lemonade, and the bee sting into honey. I surely hope so, I have a meeting tomorrow and just maybe everything will work out for the best. I am sure happy that nobody but me reads my blog, because they just might get the wrong idea as I am referring to work/business related issues and nothing about personal matters. I think it is good to write about the issues that bother you and what better place than a blog. I use to keep a journal but got to the point where I could not read my own handwriting as my thoughts would go wandering and my handwriting would be trying to keep up with my brain.

Well, things are still not any better, I wanted to come to some kind of resolution of the matter, but as it stands now, it may be next week before I can even decide how to handle this. I will have to continue trying to figure out what to do, I am quite certain that she enjoyed her moment of pleasure. Let’s hope she did anyway……

Feelings

What ever happenned to loyalty? Early today I was writing about getting stung by a bee, I cannot remember how long it has been since I have been stung by a bee, I am allergic to bee, wasp, ant stings anything that can sting I am allergic to it. So, my husband tries to protect me from all those type of things, bless his heart… Today I was stung by a different kind of bee, one he could not protect me from, I am just so down about it, and I thought 2008 was going to be the greatest year yet! Well, I will be in this down and out hole for exactly one night because I have connections – - A person told me that if your given a lemon then you have to make lemonade out of it – so I don’t really know how I can possibly make lemonade out of this; but I will definitely give it my all.
